The Eternal Shaman – the True Warrior, Part 1

In our view, a Shaman is first and foremost an individual who is a Warrior or Warrioress and as such, thinks for himself, herself.  The Shaman is absent of fear.  The Shaman is also the ultimate mystery.  The key ingredient, which empowers the Shaman, is knowledge or what the Gnostics describe as “Gnosis” - Greek for knowledge.  Wisdom teachers across the globe from all traditions agree unanimously on one common method to acquire this sacred knowledge.   And that is, to obtain it through inner observation and contemplation.  One accesses the spiritual aspect of themselves and once found, the individual connects or re-connects to what the Native Americans call “Great Spirit.”

This concept gets controversial because there are some people who have adopted an Atheistic view.  Merriam-Webster defines an Atheist as "one who believes that there is no deity."  Herein is the problem on this position as the KEY word here is “belief” as if there are only two alternatives: “one who believes” and “one who does not believe.” Unfortunately, in both cases, the individual who either believes or doesn’t believe is operating from a position of great ignorance, and as such, is devoid of both truth and Shamanic power.

The Eternal Shaman doesn’t believe or disbelieve anything.  He has arrived at “Gnosis.” He or she has become, what Carlos Castaneda described as being, “a man of knowledge.”   The Eternal Shaman doesn’t believe or disbelieve in Deity - she “knows” Deity.  Knowing vs. Believing.  The Eternal Shaman, AKA Wild Wisdom Warrior, knows himself as Diety.  She also obtains the awareness that she is an aspect of this force - the non-physical force who is, or that is operating in a physical form.  Trying to explain this to a person lost in believing or not believing usually doesn’t work too well as it’s an outside person trying to explain something to the individual who has to discover “the way of the Shaman” inwardly himself at his own pace.

The Inner Voice

The Eternal Shaman is a Warrior who has opened his awareness to all possibilities and has acquired the trust of the Universe.  He is aware of its laws of operation and seeks to know further aspects of this (his) infinite Mind of the All, Great Spirit, The Field or “the Force,” as some mythologists have been known to call it.  To the Eternal Shaman, nothing is impossible as he or she creates all and is in alignment with all benevolent eventualities.

Inner voice, heart, and intuition are the qualities and hallmarks of the Eternal Shaman – the True Warrior.  He searches deep within his heart and expresses his unique individuality through his voice.  He says what he means and means what he says.  His search and acquisition of knowledge becomes outer manifestation as true power.  There are no limits to the Mind of the All as the Universe is infinite.  By following your “inner voice” you become empowered to express your creativity and originality.  You have arrived here to carry out your mission for being here.  You have come to know your true self – your LIFEBLOOD.  From this power base, all worthwhile endeavors, creations and expressions blossom and the world is transformed for the better.

Shamanic Vision provides the individual with the means to act in this world and can transform or mold reality to the manifestation of his will.  Note this is not your “ego will” but the Divine Will expressing itself through you as you have obtained Gnosis.  Gnosis leads to Shamanic Vision which is acting and expressing your True Self in the outer world.

Reality Check

The 3rd dimension physical reality that we live in is the world of effects.  You can't create effects with effects or in other words, you can't create change in the physical world if you are in the physical world.  You must create causes.  Causes create Effects.  Causes are NOT in the physical world, they lie in the “spiritual” world of your imagination fused with intent.

In Native American culture, the rain dance, if not all ceremonies, are usually led by a Shaman or “medicine man” of the particular nation.  In a great sense, he/she is a High Priest.  Through long years of training resulting in the acquisition of the Gnosis, the Shaman is able to enter the spirit world and speak directly to Spirit.  The Shaman may offer prayers, incantations, incense, music and dance.  The Shaman is also leading and guiding his people’s focus which is, in this case, the creation of rain.  The Shaman is also able to harness this group energy and focus it.  What’s important is that the Shaman is, in outward appearance, in our world.  However, he has, in his mind and spirit, entered into the spirit world.  He is not only able to ask for, but is ready to receive.  Along the way, he may have to wrestle negative spirits (Archons or their minions) who wish to prevent him from attaining his goal.  The spirit world and its benevolent spirit beings (allies, also known as plant medicines) ARE able to aid the Shaman in creating “the cause” in the spirit world.  The Shaman is also able to manifest the result (effects) in the physical world on and for the behalf of his people.  It not only rains, it pours!

Think how long and arduous it would take to become a Shaman in his nation.  So it is also true for us in our world to be able to get to that state where, by all outward appearances, we are able to perform miracles.  There is no quick get rich scheme.  However, it is very possible.

The Supreme Vision

Many leading authors in the spiritual field across all faiths and belief systems agree that it is our natural birthright to have Vision and all the other attributes previously discoursed.  It is now time to reclaim our abilities as well as to create the relationships and world that is supportive of the sacred wisdom.  A golden age is just around the corner.  Let's further delve into what our Eternal Shaman has to say about Vision and how this ability would be advantageous.

Vision works hand in hand with Gnosis.  With Gnosis you are able to think and view the world from the point of view of higher spiritual intelligence.  When we add in the “supreme vision” we are able to communicate directly with Source Creation Intelligence. Time stands still.  Past, Present and Future becomes One.  A Visionary can see well into the past and well into the future, but they act in the present.  The Visionary is able to communicate with Spirit as in the case with the Shaman example above.  One could even say that YOU, as a Visionary, become the eyes and ears of Spirit – Source Creation.  You have eliminated separation.  You are the ONE, Neo.  In this case, you become the equivalent of the Shaman’s Shaman.  One way to aid in this “partnership” with Source Creation is to abide by universal laws and embrace compassion for all beings.  Love is the key.  Unconditional love is compassion in action.  If you are the eyes and ears of Source Creation in our world, then unity consciousness has arrived.  From here, all things become possible.
